Overview
These terms and conditions explain how we run our events, what you can expect when you attend and some of the rules in place to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
These terms and conditions will be updated as and when appropriate, and you should check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we have made.
Read our full purchase policy: for detailed information about buying tickets, refunds and cancellations, please see our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
1. Transaction and administration charges
All tickets on sale for Goose Events include a booking fee. This helps to cover our ticket retail, payment, distribution and technology costs.
The booking fee is calculated on a per event basis and reflects the overhead costs involved in putting on that event. We work with our ticket partners, including Online Ticket Seller, to keep these fees as low as we reasonably can, and our fees are the same regardless of payment method.
2. House rules
Our house rules are in place for the safety and wellbeing of everyone at our events.
- By attending a Goose Events show you agree to follow the house rules for that event and venue.
- Failure to comply with our house rules will result in access to the venue being denied or you being asked to leave the venue, and a refund will not be given.
3. Security and restricted items
The safety and security of everyone attending our events, and those who work at them, is our priority.
- We have security measures in place which are reviewed regularly to ensure a high standard of safety.
- We ask for your cooperation by arriving in good time for any security checks and by being patient while we carry out our processes. Searches may be in operation and refusal of a search will result in non admittance.
- Please only bring a small bag if necessary and do not bring items which are prohibited at the venue or under UK law.
- Please be vigilant and report anything you are concerned about to a member of staff or security.
4. Filming and photography
- The unauthorised use of photographic and recording equipment at our events is not allowed. This includes phones, tablets and other recording devices.
- You may be asked to delete pictures or recordings that have been taken without permission.
- We may carry out official filming and photography at our events for promotional and documentation purposes. Where this is taking place, signage will be displayed and, where reasonably practicable, alternative areas will be available for those who do not wish to be included in wider crowd shots.
5. Food and drink
- Your own food and drink are not permitted at our events unless you have a health condition that requires you to have the items in question with you.
- Drinks purchased from within the venue can usually be taken into the event area, subject to the venue rules. Glass items may be decanted.
- Chewing gum is not permitted.
6. Smoking
- Smoking real or electronic cigarettes is not permitted inside our indoor event spaces or in any areas where the venue has a no smoking policy.
- Where smoking areas are provided, please use those areas and follow any instructions from staff or signage.
7. Seating and enjoying the show
- Artists may encourage customers to stand, dance and enjoy the show. At some events, certain areas may be designated as standing or dancing areas.
- If you prefer to remain seated for a performance, we recommend choosing seating areas that are more suitable for this, such as tiered or balcony seating where available.
- We ask everyone to be considerate of the people around them and to follow any on the night guidance from staff.
8. Timings and admittance information
- Doors will usually open ahead of the advertised start time so that you can arrive in good time. The advertised start time may be for a support act or the main artist.
- Please check your ticket and the event information on our website for specific door and start times for each event and venue.
- We recommend arriving with plenty of time before the start time shown on your ticket to ensure that you see all of the show and can pass through any security checks.
- Latecomers will generally be admitted at a suitable break in the performance unless the artist or venue has specified a different policy. Some shows may not allow admittance until an interval.
9. Age restrictions
- Different events may have different age restrictions. Some Goose Events shows are all ages, while others are strictly over 18s.
- Performances can include loud sounds, lighting effects and a lively atmosphere. For this reason, we do not usually allow babies in arms or children under 2 unless the event is specifically aimed at this age group.
- Children over the age of 2 require a ticket for their own seat. The accompanying adult must be confident that the child is able to remain seated for most of the performance and not cause a distraction to other patrons. Audience members causing a distraction may be refused entry or asked to leave.
- For many events, those aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Specific seating or standing areas may be required for under 18s at some events; please check the event information for details.
